Let the adventures begin!

This is officially my first post from Madrid! I am sitting in my bedroom at my homestay, which is exactly the perfect size (pics to come soon). My host mom Angelina is very sweet, we talked for about a half hour before I took a much needed nap! She does not speak any English at all, which is very exciting and making me work hard right away, but we haven't had any problems communicating. I found out that two other girls will be staying here as well, although I do not know if they are in my same program. Angelina said they were Chinese and that she wasn't sure what time today they would be arriving. I have a meeting this evening to kick off my program in El Plaza del Sol, so I get to ride the subway for the first time very soon! I'm sure there will be more to post very soon, so I'll probably check in again tomorrow, but ciao for now!
